Puddles, Traces and Pieces lädt dazu ein, jene unscheinbaren Ausschnitte der Welt ernst zu nehmen, in denen sich unsere Wahrnehmung neu ordnet. Eine Pfütze ist kein spektakuläres Objekt, sondern ein provisorischer Raum: Sie entsteht aus beiläufigen Ereignissen und eröffnet darin eine Mikrowelt, die unserem vertrauten Maßstab entgleitet. In dieser Verschiebung zeigt sich ein bemerkenswerter Moment - die Welt tritt in parallelen Ebenen auf, die nicht gegeneinander stehen, sondern gleichzeitig gültig sind. Die Pfütze bildet keinen Gegenentwurf zur großen Welt; sie verdichtet sie und macht ihre Vielfalt in anderer Weise erfahrbar.

Die Aufmerksamkeit für Spuren, Bläschen oder Spiegelungen führt uns zugleich in ein Sehen, das nicht auf ein fertiges Bild zielt, sondern auf das Prozesshafte der Erscheinung. Sichtbar wird nichts Abgeschlossenes, sondern Fragmente - Stücke, Hinweise, Übergänge. Diese Fragmente sind kein Mangel, sondern eine besondere Form von Fülle: Sie erlauben uns, Welt nicht als fixiertes Inventar zu betrachten, sondern als etwas, das sich durch kleinste Konstellationen immer wieder neu bildet.

Puddles, Traces and Pieces invites us to take seriously those hidden fragments of the world in which our perception rearranges itself. A puddle is not a spectacular object but a provisional space: it arises from incidental events and opens up a microworld that slips beyond our familiar scale. In this shift, a remarkable moment becomes visible - the world appears in parallel layers that do not oppose one another but are simultaneously valid. The puddle is not a counter-image to the larger world. It condenses it and makes its richness perceptible in a different way.

Attending to traces, bubbles or reflections leads us toward a kind of seeing that does not aim at a finished image, but at the processual nature of appearance. What becomes visible is nothing complete, but fragments - pieces, clues, transitions. These fragments are not a lack, but a particular form of abundance: they allow us to regard the world not as a fixed inventory, but as something that continually re-forms itself through the smallest constellations.

Pfützen übten als Kind eine große Faszination aus. Spuren im Schlamm, Algen und aufsteigende Luftbläschen und im Frühjahr die Kaulquappen und Fröschchen. Das Spiel mit den Spiegelungen der umstehenden Bäume oder das Scharfstellen des Pfützengrundes...

Puddles held a great fascination for me as a child - tracks in the mud, algae and rising air bubbles, and in spring the tadpoles and little frogs. Playing with the reflections of the surrounding trees or focusing on the bottom of the puddle…
